2013 Elections
We have started a campaign before the elections to the PPS authorities. I encourage you to propose candidates from your surrounding- people who will continue this common good, that is our Society, with dignity and commitment.

Electoral resolution of the Polish Physical Society Main Board
During the 22 January 2013 meeting, the PPS Main Board, acting under the provision of § 31 of the Polish Physical Society Statute and in accordance with the PPS Election Regulations, decided to:
- hold elections to the PPS bodies for a term 2014-2017.
- The elections concern:
b. Secretary-General of the Polish Physical Society,
c. Treasurer of the Polish Physical Society,
d. 12 members of the Polish Physical Society Main Board,
e. 5 members of the Polish Physical Society Home Audit Committee,
f. 7 members of the Polish Physical Society Peer Tribunal.
3. The passive right to vote belongs to all PPS member who acquired the rights of the PPS member no later than on February 28, 2013.
4. The candidate, with the definition of the function he is to perform, can be submitted by at least 3 PPS members by stating that with their own signatures. Each member of the PTF may report to a specific function at most one candidate. Each PPS member may submit at most one candidate for a specific function.
5. The application, in accordance with the standard form of the candidate to the PPS, which is annexed to this resolution, must be submitted to the PPS Board no later than on 31 March 2013 at 15:00.
6. The application should be accompanied by the following documents submitted by the candidate in an electronic (as an attachment to an e-mail) or typographical form:
a. photograph of the candidate,
b. short biographical note and in case of PPS Main board members- a plan of action. Each document should contain no more than 1800 printing characters,
c. consent to become a candidate and to publish these materials on the Polish Physical Society’s website.
7. An application without the documents enumerated in aptf@fuw.edu.pl) , b and c is not complete.
8. Applications should be sent to the PPS Main Board postal address (ul. Hoża 69, 00-681 Warszawa), via e-mail (ptf@fuw.edu.pl) or by fax (022 6212668).
9. Materials mentioned in point 6 let. A and b are published on the Polish Physical Society’s website
PPS Branches may organize election meetings with the candidates to PPS authorities.
