IV Polish Optical Conference

28.06 - 2.07.2015, Legnica, Poland

The Polish Optical Conference is organized biannually by the Optics Division of the Polish Physical Society. The conference aims to integrate the Polish optics community by providing a networking platform for a wide range of people interested in the further development of research, engineering and teaching in the field of optics in Poland.

The conference combines a high standard of scientific research with anequally wide range of topics, representative of the variety of activities available in the entire Polish optics community.

Carefully selected invited lectures allow early career scientists to learn about research activities in the scientific centers across the entire country.

The conference is also one of the few forums which promote the use of the Polish language in the field of optics.

 Topics of the Conference:

  • quantum optics
  • nonlinear optics
  • physics, optics and technology of lasers, and other sources of coherent radiation
  • optoelectronics and photonics
  • fiber optics
  • optical integrated circuits
  • medical optics
  • instrumental optics
  • optical spectroscopy
  • optical metrology
  • new optical materials
  • applications of optics
  • optics education
