The PPS Physics in Economics and Social Sciences Section [link do podstrony Sekcji] is the co-organizer of the symposium devoted to the application of theories and methods deriving from physical science in economic and mathematical studies, in financial engineering and social sciences. The symposium, taking place on 14-18 May 2014 at the University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska in Lublin and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, will help present the achievements of Polish researchers in this field and present their results to the Ukrainian environment of physicists, economists and sociologists. The Symposium works will be published by the renowned Acta Physica Polonica A.
